I am so grateful and excited to have my painting ‘Shifted, now settled’ included in the @tarpeygallery annual open exhibition. I went to the launch yesterday and it was great to see paintings in person of artists whose work I’ve admired online for sometime. I’ve been going through my paint box and came ac I’ve been going through my paint box and came across this highly saturated violet colour. Continuing with my floral series I wanted to try it out on this next piece. Oh my what an intense colour! I even added black to tone it down a bit. Ironically when I mixed it with white I loved the neon colour which gave even more intensity! Sometimes a painting just knows what it wants to be and you have to just let it have its day! 40cm x 40cm Available soon on my website.
